Brian Velky

Brian T. Velky serves as Managing Director and Head of Real Estate Valuation Services at SitusAMC. His knowledge of real estate valuation and investment analysis, performance benchmarking and attribution analysis, and portfolio analysis ensures that clients receive the full benefit of expertise as an independent provider of financial services for investment real estate.

Among his various responsibilities, Mr. Velky continues to be integrally involved in overseeing the business execution and client relationships, which includes some of the largest investment managers and pension funds in the U.S. Mr. Velky is responsible for leading the valuation operations for SitusAMC, which has offices located through the U.S. and Europe, and encompasses client assets that excess $300 billion on a quarterly basis. More particularly, the valuation services encompass a number of business practices, including valuation management, appraisal services, debt valuation, daily valuation, and loan administration.

Mr. Velky is viewed as a leading authority in providing valuation and consulting services, with a technology enabled focus to continually provide clients with greater insight into their investment decision process. He has served the broader real estate industry with participation in a number of industry organizations and has been interviewed and quoted in a number of industry publications regarding commercial real estate trends and market expectations, including National Real Estate Investor, Mortgage Banking, and others. His article, “Daily Mark-to-Market Valuation Services: Mainstreaming Commercial Real Estate,” was published in the summer 2013 issue of the quarterly RERC Real Estate Report.
